Compassionate Grief Coaching
Nervous-System-Informed Support for Life After Loss
Your Guide: A Companion Who Gets It
I'm Eva. I accompany you not only as a Certified Grief Coach and former clinical social worker, but from my own experience as a young widow who learnt firsthand how much traditional mental health can miss in grief.
You might know me as Eva the yoga teacher. But yoga is just one part of the many therapeutic processes that have supported me over the twelve years since Drew’s death.
Today, I work as a grief coach specializing in compassionate, nervous-system-informed support for life after loss.
My Journey: From Canada to Colombia
After leaving my work as a clinical social worker, I spent a decade studying mind-body integration, somatic healing and the ways grief affects the body, mind, heart and spirit.
I trained as a Grief Educator with David Kessler and as a Grief Coach with IPGC, but more than any certification, my lived experience continues to guide my work.
Loss changes everything. Everyday life can feel overwhelming. You don’t have to walk this alone.
This is for you if…
• You’re living with grief that feels confusing, isolating, or heavier than you know how to carry alone. Whether it’s recent or years old, it still lives in your body.
• You’re navigating partner loss or a life-altering change that’s reshaped your identity.
• You feel anxious, overwhelmed, or burnt out from trying to “hold it all together.”
• Talk therapy has helped, but you still feel disconnected. You want support that includes your body, your heart, and your lived experience.
• Your nervous system feels dysregulated - agitated, shut down, or swinging between both. You want to understand how to feel more balanced and supported in daily life.
